After Christ rose from the grave and before He ascended into Heaven, He gave the Church what is known as the "Great Commission." This is the Mission of the Church.

We have come to recognize the importance of seven key values that are emphasized throughout God's story in Scripture and in Christ's ministry.  These values shape how we determine what is important in ministry and allows us to be able to accomplish God's mission within our area.

This is a little bit about who we are as a church of The Salvation Army!

You may not know a lot about what The Salvation Army is, let alone what we believe.  In fact, you may only know of us for Kettles at Christmastime for our social work.  Therefore, we want to take the time to tell you about ourselves as a denomination.
